2. To support and enhance the status of the shipping agents in the states of Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Perak.
3. To exchange and disseminate information of interest to all members
4. To provide a forum discussion of all matters and questions affecting the interest of shipping agents and to agree on concerted action
5. By established liaison with any official departmental, organization or person that will be beneficial to the association
